1985: born in Metairie, Louisiana 🇺🇸 ⚜️.
2004: graduated from Jesuit High School of New Orleans.
2004–2008: earned a B.A. in classics and B.S. in mathematics from Loyola University Chicago.
2009–2010: moved to Montreal 🇨🇦 to formally study linguistics at McGill University as part of their Qualifying Year program.
2010–2015: earned a Ph.D. in linguistics at McGill University with a dissertation entitled “Maximality in the semantics of modified numerals”.
2015–2017: moved to Jerusalem 🇮🇱 to be a postdoctoral fellow at the Language, Logic and Cognition Center at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
2017–2019: moved to Paris 🇫🇷 to be a postdoctoral researcher at the Laboratoire de Sciences Cognitives et Psycholinguistique, a CNRS lab, at the École Normale Supérieure.
2019–2024: moved to Michigan 🇺🇸 ✋ to be an assistant professor of linguistics at Michigan State University.
2024–present: promoted to associate professor of linguistics (with tenure) at Michigan State University.
